Using light to describe the ancient world

Who am I?

I am Daniel Thomas, a postdoctoral researcher at the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of Natural History – I also spend my days at the Smithsonian’s Museum Conservation Institute. I am interested in the signs of life you can find in fossils, and the fancy machines you can use to extract the information. I am familiar with all of the techniques I will talk about in my blog, so feel free to email me with any questions. Also, you can find my CV here.
